I took my coffee out to our front porch this morning and had a most wonderful time watching a Chickadee recycling last years oriole nest that was in a Red Oak in the front yard. I went off to work in the garden for the rest of the morning and then off to do errands this afternoon. This evening I took a drink out to the porch to listen to the Winter Wren and other songsters and noticed that the entire nest was gone. I checked on the grass to see if it had simply fallen but no, it had been entirely recycled.
Gotta love those DeeDees! If only we could convince the rest of the kingdom that recycling rules.
The greatest tragedy in mankind's enitire history may be the hijacking of morality by religion.
