The last couple of days I have seen an unusual-looking sparrow at the house. It looks somewhat like a white-throated sparrow, but it's auricular area is white. The throat is pale but not the bright white of the usual white throated sparrow. It has more white on the head than the WTS, but does have the yellow marking, too. The bill is dark. I researched it some, but could not find any thing similar - whether an aberrant or hybrid of some sort. I did get some mediocre pictures if someone would like to look at it.
