There is a bug in the way that myUVM signs users on to Bb. When a user logs into myUVM, then clicks on the Bb link at the top, they are logged into Bb. However, if they log out of Bb, subsequent log in attempts can be problematic, and users often experience redirect loops, errors, and what appear to be missing/empty course lists in Bb.
The workaround for this problem is the following:
1) Delete your browser’s cookies
2) Proceed directly to https://bb.uvm.edu and log in there (don’t go to myUVM first)
This should allow students (and anyone else) who are experiencing this issue back into Bb. If it still doesn’t work, please have them contact [log in to unmask] so we can track and investigate in more detail.
As for getting kicked out of a quiz, it is hard to diagnose what may be happening there without specific details. If they could contact [log in to unmask] with the details (what do the error messages say? what is the CRN/course ID for the course space? When did this happen?) that will also help. In the meantime, if you hear a report from a student of this happening in your course, you can (as an instructor) get an idea of where the student had these problems, and how they were accessing the test, by using the new Test Access Log tool:
