On an NEK Audubon field trip this past week-end around the Dead Creek area
we were able to find around 40 American Pipits along Gage road. Along
Nortontown road were 2 Rough legged Hawks, American Tree Sparrow along
Brilyea access and at Tri-town 8 Horned Grebes and 1 Red-necked Grebe. At
McCuen Slang 6 Ruddy ducks, 20 Black Scoters and a White winged Scoter along
with half dozen Greater yellowlegs.
