Yesterday four Rutland County Auduboners were treated to a very large flock of snow geese on Rt 17.
They were on the north side of the road. Highlights were:
Pipits were seen on Slang Rd. Ruddy ducks at McCuen Slang, red-breasted mergansers, both common and one red-throated loon at the bridge. Horned and rednecked grebes, bufflehead at Button Bay.
