I dipped on the White-eyed Vireo at the Intervale this afternoon. Was
there from about 1:00 to 2:25 with no luck. Unfortunately, due to house
guests, this was my first chance to get out there. Met only one other
birder (didn't ask his name) who missed it yesterday and was trying again
today. My most interesting observation was a group of at least 15 American
Tree Sparrows working the underbrush near the closed gate. Also saw a
Red-tailed Hawk that had a flock of about 30 Starlings on the move.
