And I remember hearing and seeing them in the 60's and 70's in New London,
NH. Actually, in the 60's, when I was a gullible kid, I first thought
someone was calling my neighbor because his name WAS Bob White!

Since Bobwhite occurred in the wild in Mass. when I was growing up in
the 30's and were easily found on Cape Cod in the 50's, I don't see
any reason why they couldn't reestablish themselves if given a chance.
