I was birding on the VT side of the lake again on Tuesday and we had a great day once again. The Addison and Bridport area was again loaded with raptors and field birds. Highlights included:
RL and RT HawksN. HarriersAmerican Kestrel (Nortontown Road)Snowy Owl - Gage Road in the evening. This appears to be the same bird we had there on Saturday eveningSnow Buntings and Horned Larks were everywhere and we had about 10 Lapland Longspurs near the junction of Jersey St. South with Rt. 17. We also found a few Savannah Sparrows as well.
We did not see the Harris's Sparrow and spent about an hour there during a late lunch. There was, however a good mix of birds at the spot including many Tree and Song Sparrows, and a handful of BH Cowbirds.
Good Birding!
