We are using the Logitech keyboards that plug in to lightning. The
behavior of the screwy cursor was triggered by tapping into the text box,
so it appears regardless of using the on-screen or the plug-in keyboard.
But there are no arrow keys on the on-screen keyboard, so we had to solve
with a plug-in keyboard. I assume bluetooth would also have fixed it.
