8/3/2015 - Grand Isle, Ed Weed Fish Hatchery



2 fresh Monarchs along the roadway to the equipment atop the hill. One nectared long enough to establish it as a female. These are the first I've seen this year, for they've conspicuous in the absence at my local patches in Connecticut.
