I just had an immature Connecticut Warbler at Whitney Creek. In the dense
tangle of grapes, burdock, grass, and jewelweed on the right side of the
trail between the two bends. Very shy bird. Not vocal at all. I just
happened to get lucky and spot it moving while I was walking. Again,
Whitney Creek is about 1 mile south of the champlain bridge in Addison. Its
the big dirt parking area on the lake side of the road. 3rd CT Warbler in a
week here, so this seems to be a "reliable" location for anyone searching
for this species.
