I was up at the hawk watch on Putney Mt and we had 1312 hawks, 1212 of them Broadies, many Osprey a few Eagles, Sharpies, 2 Harriers and a couple Coopers. This is the 3rd time in the past week we have had counts of over a 1000. Extraordinary for this site.
My sisters in Adams MA sat in the backyard and had 40 + Broadies kettle and fly over.
What a day!

Looking around we noticed a bunch more and spent the next 45 minutes getting up over 200 Broad-wingeds and an Osprey. It appearaed that the hawks were "done" so we went back to harvesting. 10 minutes later I looked up again and there was a group of over 50 Broad-wingeds. They were quickly joined by 60 more and within 5-10 minutes we had 200+ MORE total Broad-wingeds to bring our total for the morning to over 400. We also had 3 Sharpies, 1 Osprey and 1 Harrier.
