Bumping registration for the GWU IV. Registration closes this Sunday. Highlights include:
-An adjudication team led by Prof. Kenneth Newby, Esq., director of the Morehouse College Forensics Program. Ken was a breaking judge at 2015 WUDC in Malaysia, finalist at the 2014 America’s Cup at Purdue, CA for the 2015 Pan-American Universities Debating Championship, is the Convener for the 2016 United States Universities Debating Championship, and recently posted to FB perhaps the greatest set of wedding pics I have ever seen.
-Buzz Klinger holding down the DCA. Buzz is a US BP National Champion, has broken at Worlds as both a debater and a judge, and is extremely excited about participating in the Halloween costume competition.
-Great Halloween City. DC is a fun Halloween spot and we are using a relaxed "quality of life" schedule to help everyone enjoy it.
-A commitment to running an efficient tournament. We'll see how this commitment jives with our relaxed schedule, but here's hoping we live up to it.
-Great facilities. The Elliott School is fabulous. All rounds and topic announcements will be held in one building.
-A ghoulish Halloween costume competition. We are dead serious about bringing the HCC to BP.
Absent drops, we're looking at 40-50 teams. Come join us!
