I have had Bluebirds winter over for the past two year. They stay if I put mealworms in a birdhouse and then move a feeder up closer to the house. I had 4 successful nestings with birds that wintered over. Most I had in winter was 10.

I’ve been hearing bluebirds (from where there are nesting boxes) for the last few days. I heard and saw them sitting on nesting boxes around this time last year too. (Cornwall)
