Sorry for the late post-Tuesday, the 9th, while I was out and about Lake Carmi  mid-afternoon I came across a Red-shouldered Hawk perched atop a telephone pole on the South side of Swamp Rd.  Getting slightly late I’d think, but the bird might be hanging to enjoy the unseasonably warm weather.
