The leaves are falling heavily now and some of us have seen snow already. One of the joys of the coming winter season is feeding the birds while watching from the comforts of our homes. Now is the time to stock up on bird seed!

The Rutland County Audubon Society's annual seed sale and membership drive is scheduled for Saturday, November 7. As always we'll be at two locations:

Garland's Farm & Garden, 70 Park St in Rutland: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Brandon Blue Seal Feeds, Rte 7 in Brandon: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
