I was at the bridge the same time as Tyler this morning. After he left, and unfortunately after my camera battery froze, I spotted a female Harlequin Duck in the flock. That's a life bird for me.
The mouth of Bulwagga Bay has frozen more so much more of the flock is right in front of the bridge now. Many more Scaup, I'd put in the 1500 range, Goldeneye in the 2000 range, 1000 Common merganser and about 400 Mallard and Black duck. Also Redheads, Bufflehead, Ring-neck Duck, White-winged Scoter, one Pintail... It's quite a show.
