On the other side of Weybridge Street, also in Middlebury, the Song Sparrow was almost drowned out by singing Cardinals, Bluebirds, Titmice, and Tree Sparrows. Also 2 FOY Common Grackles, a Canada Goose, and a Northern Harrier.
I thought I heard an Eastern Meadowlark out by the College Organic Garden, but I couldn’t track it down.
And on Tuesday the daffodils were popping up on campus. Yikes!
