Today Martha Pfeiffer and I went to Emerald Lake around 10:45. We walked into the concession stand and then went to the right shore line trail. We walked in about 200 yards and found the most amazing fall out of yellow-rump warblers. We counted well over 150 of them. We know there were many more. It was unbelievable.
In addition we had a Louisiana Waterthrush, 3 hermit thrushes, 3 black and white warblers, several ruby crowned kinglets, 2 blue head vireos, titmouse white nuthatches and several other species.
