This morning on Swamp Rd. in Salisbury just East of the covered bridge I
had 1 Pectoral Sandpiper and 1 Dunlin. 2 days ago there was 1 Pectoral
Sandpiper and 1 Lesser Yellowlegs at the same location. I believe this
Pectoral Sandpiper is a different bird from 2 days ago because today's bird
dropped in from the sky with the Dunlin as I was photographing some
Killdeer. The two birds only stayed for about 10 minutes while they preened
and fed for a minute before taking flight, spiraling upward and heading
north again.
