The light snow brought in a male Belted Kingfisher along with a pair of
Hooded Mergs to decorate our pond. An early (?) Chipping sparrow showed up
along with two wind-blown Am Tree Sparrows who have probably been among our
winter mix. I counted 22 species from my house/blind in two hours. That
is, until a Cooper's Hawk came in and spoiled the fun. He was number 23.
