   Thanks for writing.  Could you elaborate on "things will behave differently"?  For scope, we have about 1000mV of H2 to about 14mV of H2O on the 1e12 resistor in a background scan.  To fill in the rest of the picture:  Mass 28=120mV, 32=0.5mV, and 44=14mV for the background scan.  So, by all accounts, we have a clean machine.  I have re-focused countless times, with no difference.  

-I have changed the oil wick, all ok there.
-I have done extensive leak testing on the entire inlet system, so am confident we're ok there as well.

Everything has been tested with clean standard gas containing only N2 and Ar.  Therefore, I am wondering if perhaps our problem is within the metal itself, that is, once gas is introduced, we have even more H2.  I am starting to doubt that cleaning the COV will accomplish anything....Thanks again for the input.
