Hi All,

When calculating post exercise pressure drop in percent which calculation is more accurate and/or preferred in most labs....

Post pressure/rest pressure x 100 - 100 or post ABI/rest ABI x 100 - 100

I would imagine that using the indices when calculating isn't accurate because of the time that elapses in getting all the post exercise pressures - symptomatic leg, the other leg and then finally the highest post exercise brachial (in that order, in < 1 min ideally). Or could you use the indices but just use the resting brachial instead of the post ex brachial? Would that be more accurate? Overthinking it too much.....
