The feeders are down, but a handsome white-crowned sparrow was scouting about the back yards of Terrace Street. Along with a couple of white throated sparrows and a song sparrow. Also saw a spotted sandpiper on a small gravel bar at the mouth of the North Branch. (In back of downtown Shaw's supermarket!)
