White-crowned sparrows blew in overnight, two on the feeder and likely
more on the ground and in the shrubbery since I usually get 6 to 10 of
these beauties in spring migration.
I rarely get any in fall, so I guess they take a different route south.
I note from my records their arrival date has ranged from May 5 to 24
over the last 10 years.
