While checking out a small wave of warblers through my binocs near my
home, I felt the lightest of touches on the sleeve of my jacket and
realized that a chickadee landed and worked its way up my arm. I have been
putting dried mealworms out in a platform feeder and suspect this was a
gentle reminder to restock a bit faster with the wintry conditions of the
day. Pretty neat to really be eye to eye!
