I haven't tried the super glue technique. Each of the three that I removed had uneven surfaces, perhaps from other attempts at removal. What worked for me - tools from art class! I believe they said they were for clay - wood handles with various metal ends. I found two with the smallest ends - one looked like a teeny tiny spoon (flat at the end, slightly curved); the other was just pointed, like a thick needle. I would have preferred two of the "spoons", since it easily fit next to the jack so I got a good grip. I used the other tool to oppose and just pulled. Pretty easy.
