I saw the first Monarch of the year yesterday in a high field at the foot of MT Anthony in Bennington. 
She looked rather old, and was ovipositing on Milkweed.

Also first 2 Hairstreaks of the season.  1 either a Banded or Hickory, 2nd a Striped.
