We have a wild batch of juvenile RT Hummingbirds right now, acting like Jedi warriors...building their skills I guess.
Most of them act like males... but since both males and female juveniles have the same white tail-tips, it's hard to know.

One of them has been badgering a chickadee....following it around; and at one point, it performed its courtship Arc over the chickadee sitting in a plum tree. I've never seen this before...maybe he's working on method, or else hopelessly confused.
