This evening I had a phone call from a lady in Pittsford who related that she and her husband witnessed five bluebirds enter a nesting box yesterday evening, the night when temperatures plummeted.

Cheers, Roy Pilcher

Subject: [VTBIRD] Bluebird

Wednesday night , we took the dogs out in howling rain/sleet/snow and happened to walk past one of the blue bird boxes in our field. Huddled inside and staring out at us was a miserable looking male bluebird. That is a first here for us in the winter.
