For those of you in and about Montpelier. The cedar waxwing flock that is feeding on the flowering crabs about town this week, are very approachable when they are feeding. I happened on an (intoxicated ?) flock of about 50 on Elm Street on Thursday that were frequently only one or 2 feet away from my nose. One was hanging upside down not 2 feet away like it had a bit too much to drink.
