I would like to register for both the apple watch and interactive posters. My name is Cally Flickinger and I am the librarian/tech integrationist at Chamberlin School in South Burlington. Could you please put my name down for both classes and I will begin the registration process at school tomorrow?

Subject: upcoming Castleton Course
These courses have been pretty popular around Vermont and two new offerings
are available this spring.
3 Credits- April 8th-- Material's Development for a Google Classroom
shares with teachers how to create screencasts, utilize a wide variety of
google products, design different types of discussions and implement
differentiated teaching methods in an online environment. 1 face to face
session and the rest online. A great course to get people started or to
really dig deeper into Google tools all around.
1 Credit Apple Watch-- Sat May 13th
of the big trends we see is wearables. Educators need to be on the cutting
edge with new tools like this. 1 face to face session and the rest online.
This is a brand new opportunity which can work in an content area:
1 Credit- May 6th Talking Posters in the Content Area
This takes making to a new level. Kids and teachers love this project. I
present a simple template in Scratch, makey-makey, electronic paint, images
and so much more to create an interactive poster with voice, music, photos
and art. It works with a Chromebook! 1 face to face session and the rest
online. You can watch an example here.
I hope to see you soon.
