My son just phoned me to say there is a leucistic Canada Goose in an
active large flock of geese in the field near the Champlain Bridge on
the Vermont side.
It has a normal neck, head, bill, legs and feet, but the body and wings
are all white. Has the appearance of a plastic hunting decoy with a
Snow Goose body and the detachable head, neck, and feet from a Canada
Goose. I easily found pictures of similar birds on-line.
