I’m  99% sure that I saw a barn swallow checking out my barn windows yesterday. I hadn’t opened them yet and next year I’ll do it on April first.  I had just noticed hundreds of flies, (the first of the year) basking in the sun on my house.  The earliest barn swallow we've ever seen here was 4/17/ 2013.  I don’t keep track of bumble bees, but I saw one on some snowdrops yesterday too.
