I was happy to see a Fox Sparrow in my yard in Waitsfield this morning, along with first Eastern Phoebes.  One of them is doing an interesting chattering vocalization.

A lovely fox sparrow joined the merry band of juncos and finches at my feeder this afternoon. Also had a song sparrow and a white-throated sparrow.
