Was working in my front flower beds about 1:00 listening to the brown thrasher when a flock of blackbirds flew in. They were all chattering and I heard what sounded like rusties. I ran in and got my binoculars. When I came out the birds had moved a few hundred feet south. I got 3 rusties in my binocs and it sounded like a few more. They were moving on after I watched them for about 15". I live near the Alburgh Dunes State Park where I have seen them before, but I have never been out in my yard as they passed through!
