Maybe because of the fact that people could drive around and thru?  Thanks for the heads up.  I guess scopes will be needed now.

Hal and I stopped by Franklin County Airport IBA Monday afternoon for first time this year and encountered a brand new, solidly locked gate, accompanied by a brand new sign "NO UNAUTHORIZED PERSONNEL BEYOND THIS POINT."
Is there anyone who knows what's going on? Why the change? As most of you know, it's the only place in the State of Vermont where Grasshopper Sparrow can consistently be observed.
