Boot your Mac whilst holding down the option key and whilst connected to the wired network and whilst the HD drive is connected to said Mac.
Select Utilities (I think that’s the name?) from the netboot options and your machine will boot to that network source. Diskwarrior as well as disk utility are available in the application launch utility.

I have an external HD connected to my Mac that has an "Invalid B-tree
node size" error and thus won't mount. Do we have any software like
Disk Warrior or Drive Genius that might fix it? The data on it is not
critical and not backed up, but if I can get it back without too much
trouble, I'd like to. The filesystem is HFS+.
