There was quite a bit of activity, singing and evidence of nesting, along the Split Rock Trail in Pittsford this morning. An unmowed hayfield was filled with Bobolinks and some carrying food for young. A Savannah Sparrow was also singing in the area.
Two Hermit Thrush and two Wood Thrush were singing away and we enjoyed a long concert with no intermission from a Winter Wren.
