Thirty-two species along the Lily Pond Trail in Castleton this morning. Eastern Wood-Pewees are still singing and an Ovenbird belted out one song. Only six warbler species, but the Pine Warblers were singing too.
Two Osprey were arguing over a fish near what may have been a nest this past season. An immature Red-shouldered Hawk flew in and there was a bit of a confrontation.
