The 113 Waterman computer labs received a couple of updates today:

1) All new CAT-6 network cables have been installed, replacing the older CAT-5 and CAT-5e ones that had been there for probably a decade or more. Hopefully this will help with intermittent network connectivity issues that seem to randomly appear and disappear throughout the semester.

2) A graphical window has been added to the login/logout scripts that run automatically on login and logout. Previously you'd just see a blank screen, now you'll get some feedback that something is happening.

That's it! Let me know of any questions or problems you notice as a result of these changes.
