Walking on the carriage roads of Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Park
in Woodstock yesterday (Nov.9) some friends and I watched a murder of crows
socializing, forming up, whatever, with much vigorous vocalizing. (The
crows not the humans).
They were clustering on the carriage roadway, whooping and hollering and
seeming to have a great time together. Probably about 75 -100 birds. As we
approached, they flew away into the woods, continuing to vocalize.
It was a nice November moment.
