Branbury State Park had a big beach party with some 300 Canada geese strolling about the grounds while others enjoyed the water.
At some silent signal the crowd moved into the water while a few flew. Much gabbling going on.
In quiet spots along the lake mallards were busily feeding avoiding the raucous crowd of geese.
