Today between noon and 2 PM, while looking for snowy owls, we encountered
many ravens and crows in the bare fields. In southern Addison and Bridport,
we probably saw 50-70 ravens, often in groups of 3 to 5, but sometimes in
pairs, singles, or mixed with crows. I know crows migrate, but do ravens?
Or were these birds just moving from the nearby hills to feed
opportunistically in the fields newly melted off?
