Hello:
Ted Murin and I birded western Charlotte this morning from Thompson's Point to Lake x Greenbush Rd. Here are the highlights (full lists on eBird):
At Thompson's Point:
1 Glaucous Gull (1st or 2nd yr)
32 Bald Eagles (on ice rafts, scoping south across Town Farm Bay)
1 Yellow rumped Warbler
At Charlotte Town Beach:
2 Harlequin Ducks (m+f)
1 Iceland Gull (1st yr)
1 Long tailed Duck
1 Ring necked Duck
1 Horned Grebe
At various points along Coverse Bay, Whalley, Ferry, and Lake Roads:
1 Red winged Blackbird (FOY)
1 Brown Creeper
3 Eastern Bluebirds
Several large flocks of American Robins
