I, like many others, had more feeder birds yesterday than I have had all season. There was so much movement that it was impossible to count numbers, but my 4 feeders were empty by mid-afternoon.
Dark-eyed Juncos were the most abundant, and the usual Titmice, Purple finches, Goldfinches, Blue Jays, and Cardinal were present. The big surprise was a flock of Pine Siskins, the first time they have been here this winter. And the FOY White-throat Sparrow was nice to see with the Tree Sparrows.
