Summer has arrived here in Vermont’s southwestern most town! This morning the Wood Thrush is singing his song for all to hear as is the Baltimore Oriole. Yesterday the Towhee arrived.
Is it my imagination the the Tree Swallow numbers are down? I have seventeen houses that are normally filled with either Bluebirds or Tree Swallows. Yesterday I did a little checking and there are six houses that are vacant. I seem to remember that their numbers were down last year as well.
