I don't know if you use it daily or not but we have been having issues in our lab with the autosampler not finding positions starting about a week or so ago. We have determined the cause of the issues to be the most recent Microsoft update which included changes to a Jet Engine Database. Since it is a security update, Microsoft doesn't want users to be able to uninstall it. Our tech people are trying to find work arounds for the Jet Engine updates as they are not compatible with the software we use (IonOS). We had this issue with our other instrument about 6 months ago and we decided to take that computer offline and now it doesn't do any updates. I hope that helps.

Subject: [ISOGEOCHEM] GasBench II - Autosampler Tray Position
since years we are running a GasBench II (including Combi PAL) coupled to a MAT252.
Yesterday we suddenly had the problem, that the needle does not find the correct autosampler position anymore.
For position one the needle is approx 2mm shiftet to the right, for position 12 the needle is shiftet ~15mm to the right.
Therefore I don't think that it is a problem which could be solved by simply changing the positioning variable x.
I already checked the tray holder etc., here everything seems to be fine.
Might it be possible that the cam belt needs to be replaced? Or might it be something else?
Any tips are welcome :-) Thanks in advance for your time!
