You will be required to collect at least 90 signatures from registered Vernon voters. Petitions must be turned into the Town Clerks office by 5pm on Thursday, January 18, 2018. A sample header for your petition should include the following:

Subject: SOCIAL AGENCY APPROPRIATIONS
I'm sure this question has been addressed in the past. If you have a Social Agency funding policy can you please send me a copy?
Has any municipality had two agencies merge as one and request both appropriations? Putney has a three tier structure. Tier A is for "town" agencies which is a higher percentage of funding. Two agencies merged, they are looking for double the appropriation funding. There are two other agencies in this tier.
Two years ago we had an three agencies merge into one but getting one appropriation. They are now realizing they would like the funding for all three agencies FY20. Dilemma
We are rethinking the way we fund our agencies. Thank you.
