Thanks to everyone who sent photos! I’ve got a lovely assortment of these lovely birds now.
With Bernie’s excellent photos, I’ve been able to go back over all thirty+ slide presentations I’ve put together over the years and get rid of almost all the blurry or “pixelated” photos taken from the web, but neither Bernie nor I have ever gotten good photos of harriers or distant diving ducks. We’re working on that this winter (if it would only get a bit warmer!).
The birding community is indeed a wonderfully supportive group! Thanks again - Maeve Kim, Jericho Center
